As brothers of Phi Delta Chi, we place extraordinary value on the time spent giving back to our community. We try to embrace the profession of Pharmacy in all of our volunteer work and take advantage of our skills to provide services to members of the community who might otherwise not have access to them. You will commonly find any number of Phi Delta Chi brothers volunteering at health fairs, local hospitals, free clinics, and serving in a wide variety of more traditional service roles.
The Service Committee works to focus our efforts and close the gap between the residents of the Ann Arbor area and the students here at the University of Michigan, particularly those at the College of Pharmacy. Throughout the years, the Service Committee has been striving to create more recurring annual events in which the brothers of our chapter can build meaningful relationships and have a more substantial impact on our community. By offering a diverse range of volunteer and service opportunities throughout the year, we ensure that all of our brothers have the chance to give back to their communities despite their hectic schedules!
It is the mission of this committee to not only continue the events that past brothers have initiated, but to continue to create new and innovative ways in which Phi Delta Chi can engage with and give back to the greater Ann Arbor community. We collaborate with other organizations in the College of Pharmacy to ensure we are putting our maximum efforts in helping our communities. As Pharmacy professionals, our goal is to have an impact on all of those who we serve.
